Your Taxes Are Due Before Midnight-- So... A Good Day For Democratic Candidates To Send Out Contribution E-Mails

I've been all wound up this week in getting to know a whole bunch of new candidates, trying to suss out, in the immortal words of Chris Hayes "what they'll fight for" and "who they'll fight for." New Candidate Alert: Meet Marqus Cole (GA-07)

Georgia's 7th congressional district-- small towns and suburbs in Gwinnett and Forsyth counties northwest of Atlanta-- is going to be an election hot house next year. It's been a red district for a long time that's turning purple. McCain won it with about 60% and so did Romney. Trump won it as well, but his margin was narrower: 51.1% to 44.8%. Then last year, Stacey Abrams won the district by just over 1,700 votes.
