Beavis and Butthead: the 1990s American cartoon that can help us understand America’s present social crisis (VIDEO)

For years, American television gave the world a surprisingly profound insight into the culture and sociological nature of the US. The television of the 1950s and much of the 1960s portrayed a contented nation at the zenith of its domestic wealth (for the time and in many ways beyond).

Is there a new anti-Trump Hollywood blacklist? (VIDEO)

Some very troubling reports are circulating that US actors and celebrities who have either spoken in support of Donald Trump or have been neutral about him are facing pressure, and in some cases even threats.

What’s at stake in the US election?

The outcome of the 2016 presidential election will show that the American political system – as we have known it – will apparently cease to exist.  Trump is nothing like those Republican pawns who, along with the puppets of the Democratic party, have spent the last 40 years erecting the facade of American democracy.  It really looks like he is ready to make good on the threat he made even prior to the Republican National Convention – to send millions of his supporters into the streets.

You Might Get Fired for Talking Trash Against Hillary and Donald

I can’t believe it, but then I can believe it, or I must believe it. These are compliant times, where people in the US workforce are kowtowed and then for years these multiple generations in the workforce have thrown in the towel and been so bullied by the Politically Crap Corrective Collective Group-Think that they are not even human — they can’t even rage against the injustice befalling them. I have both taught and worked alongside people who just believe deep down there’s no sense in fighting the powers that be, and that’s it, too bad, sure, but what can we do about it?
