During the Singapore summit, President Trump showed North Korean Chairman Kim Jong-un a video as a proposal for what might be in North Korea’s future with the improved relations between the US and the North Koreans, and the effects this might have on not only the North but everywhere.
The president also repeatedly made points about how there comes a stage in negotiations where one cannot go back. This video was designed with this point in mind, and one can see its expression quite clearly.

If more proof was needed to persuade anyone that the Democrats are indeed a war party, it was provided when Senator Chuck Schumer and other Democrat leaders in the Senate engaged in a cynical stunt to stake out a position to the right of John Bolton on the summit between Trump and Kim Jong Un.

While Trump was quick to take a victory lap after signing a non-binding letter (of intent) with North Korea’s leader Kim Jong Un to implement the denuclearization of North Korea, several questions have emerged among which:

Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un are in some ways, rather alike. Both are brash and fearless. Both are easy with bellicose rhetoric, but both are also open to dealmaking.
Today, this process began to unfold in a most visible manner on the world stage.
President Donald Trump and Chairman Kim Jong-un concluded their nuclear summit on Tuesday by signing a document in which the American president pledged “security guarantees” to the North Koreans, and in turn, Chairman Kim reiterated his own commitment to a complete removal of nuclear weapons from the Korean Peninsula.

Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un are set to meet face-to-face in Singapore tomorrow and together they can change the world.
Their Tuesday summit will begin with a one-on-one meeting, alongside translators, with an anxious world watching on, waiting to see if 70 years division and fear can lead to an official end to a conflict on the Korean peninsula that almost plunged the world into nuclear war just months ago.

When President Reagan met with Mikhail Gorbachev in Reykjavik, Iceland, on October 11, 1987, it helped put into motion events that would dramatically change the global system. A line of communication was fully opened with an enemy of decades and substantive issues were on the table. Though the summit was initially reported as a failure, with the two sides unable to sign a final agreement, history now shows us that it was actually a great success that paved the way to the eventual end of the Cold War and a reduction in the threat of a nuclear war.

Former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani mocked North Korean leader Kim Jong Un days before a historic summit between POTUS Trump and NK leader Kim Jong Un.
Giuliani said that Kim was so scared of US power that he “got back on his hands and knees and begged” for the reinstatement of a summit between the US and North Korea.
Giuliani noted that with the summit plans back in place, the U.S. has the upper hand.

Many hackles get raised worldwide at the mention of the name of America’s present National Security Adviser, John Bolton. Most recently, the fiery hardliner made news when he ruffled the feathers of the North Korean leadership, by suggesting that the “Libya model” be applied to North Korea’s present regime.

Korea: The cancellation is a triumph for Trump’s national security team, most if not all of whom were horrified at the prospect of his meeting personally with Kim. (There was no telling what the Big Man might agree to if he met Little Rocket Man face to face. What if Korea actually were denuclearized There would be no more excuse for keeping American troops on the peninsula! Disaster!)

The episode of the ‘on/off’ Kim-Trump summit provides a further stark example of the fact that Donald Trump, 16 months into his Presidency, remains an amateur.
The first thing to say is that Donald Trump may have made the right call when he tried to call the Singapore summit with Kim Jong-un scheduled for 12th June 2018 off.  If he now goes ahead with the summit – for which he is visibly unprepared – he is taking on serious risks.
