NYPD Union Boss’ Son Stripped of Badge and Gun for Not Reporting Negligent Discharge

The cop son of NYPD’s loudmouth union boss Patrick Lynch was stripped of his badge and gun for fleeing the scene of a shooting Sunday night.
Kevin Lynch, 23, was hanging out with another NYPD cop named Robert Smilove, 22, who is also the son of a cop, when Smilove negligently pulled the trigger of a gun he had purchased, firing a bullet through the window of a pickup truck they were sitting in.

Federal Cop Shoots Self in Foot While Trying to Kill Raccoon

A U.S. Park police officer shot himself in the foot while trying to protect himself from an aggressive raccoon Thursday.
But another officer saved the day by shooting the raccoon.
The incident took place around noon at Rock Creek Park, a 2,000 acre national park that has the highest raccoon density in the country, according to a university study.
Police say the raccoon attacked the cop, making him fear for his life.

North Carolina Deputy Fired for Shooting 11-Year-Old Daughter During Halloween Party

A North Carolina sheriff’s deputy has been fired after she shot her daughter at a Halloween party over the weekend, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday.
Misty Michelle Flowers, 38, was showing her department-issued service weapon to friends at her home in Lincolnton Saturday when she negligently fired the gun.
The bullet tore through a wall, striking her daughter in the next room.

An award-winning California cop crashed his patrol vehicle into a parked car and utility pole Thursday, then refused to step out when ordered to do so by responding officers, putting the car in reverse and speeding off with flashing emergency lights, a broken windshield and a dangling passenger side mirror.
The incident was caught on video by shocked bystanders as more than 1,000 homes and businesses were left without power.

A Maryland cop searching for a shooting suspect described only as a “black man with a hoodie and jeans” ended up pouncing on a black man with a hoodie and jeans walking down the street, slamming him to the ground and handcuffing him while another officer punched him in the face.
Turns out, the man was an off-duty cop.
Now Washington D.C. police officer Robert Parker Jr., 28, is claiming racial profiling.
However, the Prince George’s County police officer who accosted him is also black, if that makes any difference. The officer who punched him is white.

Award-Winning Florida Cop Indicted for Shooting into Occupied Home After Dispatched to Wrong Address

An award-winning Florida cop who fired into an occupied home after responding to a wrong address, forcing an innocent family out at gunpoint in the middle of the night and ordering them to sit handcuffed on the curb for ten hours, was indicted by a grand jury.
Ocoee police officer Carlos Anglero turned himself in Thursday evening, according to WKMG in Orlando.

A man having a medical emergency while driving ended up veering off a highway and landing in a ditch, slumping over on the passenger seat and alarming witnesses who rushed to help, then called 911, figuring he would receive the proper care.
Not a chance.
Instead, Oklahoma Highway Patrol officers arrived on the scene within five minutes and began yelling at him to “put your car in park,” according to a video recorded by a witness.
When the man did not immediately comply, the cops busted out both the driver side window and the passenger side window.

Philadelphia Cop Gets Drunk and Loses Gun; Gun then Used to Ambush Fellow Cop

The gun used to shoot a Philadelphia cop earlier this year in an incident described as a “terrorist attack” was stolen from a fellow police officer three years earlier.
Philadelphia police officer Leon Pearson told investigators he fell asleep while drunk in his home, then woke up to find his gun missing.
He also said there was no sign of forced entry and nothing else was missing.
That gun ended up in the hands of Edward Archer who used it to shoot Philadelphia police officer Jesse Hartnett as he was driving his patrol car on January 7.
