By rights, this ought to be one of the biggest news stories of the year. After almost four years of battling with the fictitious narrative we know and love as Russiagate, President Donald Trump showed great confidence in ordering the declassification of all documents – ALL of them, WITHOUT redactions of any kind – as they pertain to the Russiagate fiasco and the eventual attempts by the GOP to sort out and expose the wrongdoing in what has turned out to be the most significant attempt at a coup d’etat ever to happen with an American presidency.

The Obama administration’s anti-Trump investigation may not have been limited to the FBI, but may have included the use of CIA assets and surveillance capabilities, raising troubling questions about whether the nation’s top spy service was weaponized against a US political campaign.

What is wonderful is when personal freedom is experienced in the United States. What is horrible is when that country does a “Soviet-style” turnabout and imprisons you for free speech. This is the story with Julian Assange, whose Wikileaks site has been a vital player in calling out abuses of power within the United States – its government and otherwise politically powerful.

For two and a half years the House Intelligence Committee knew CrowdStrike didn’t have the goods on Russia. Now the public knows too.
