WASHINGTON (REPORT) — President-elect Donald Trump pledged to step away from his family-owned international real estate development, property management and licensing business before taking office Jan. 20. With less than two weeks until his inauguration, he hasn’t stepped very far.
You probably saw this eye-popping Christie polling numbers this morning. New Jersey's Fairleigh Dickinson University's poll found that most registered voters think he should be tried for his role in "Bridgegate." His job approval rating was 18%; disapproval is 73%.

In recent years, the parents of Jared Kushner, the son-in-law and trusted confidant of US President-elect Donald Trump, have donated tens of thousands of dollars to organisations and institutions located in illegal West Bank settlements, according to their tax forms.
Tuesday, Trump very publicly humiliated arrogant Ivy League smarty pants Ted Cruz again. Aside from the shaken but ever self-confident Cruz-- maybe-- did anyone think the vengeful, vindictive Trump was going to make Cruz Attorney General? Not even Trump hates America that much-- although he does hate Cruz. So he summoned him the The Tower and dangled the plum just out of reach of the Texas sucker's twitchy jaws.
It isn't hard to imagine why Trump dumped Christie. Just watch the video above, from a year ago, for starters and then put that into the context of the Bridgegate trial and the guilty verdicts this month. Clearly, Christie has some serious legal problems ahead of him and, whatever the outcome, it's also clear that he isn't exactly a man who should be in charge of hiring for a new presidential administration.
