The French daily Le Monde is reporting that a French-Swiss construction firm,
LafargeHolcim Group, made pay offs to Islamic militants in Syria, “one third of whom are outlawed,” according to the newspaper.
The payments were apparently made in order to ensure that the company’s cement factory located in Syria was not targeted by the militants.

According to reports from Hezbollah’s military media unit, Syrian National forces and their allies have already recaptured the historic UNESCO World Heritage Site at the Palmyra citadel from ISIS, located on the western side of the city. 
In addition, Syrian Army units have also advanced to the modern palatial complex to the southwest of the city limits.
This is the second time the Syrian allied forces have fought to retake Palmyra from GCC state-backed ISIS terrorists.

Multiple news agency reports confirm that the Syrian army – heavily backed by the Russian air force and with the assistance of Russian Special Forces – is engaging in what increasingly looks like its final assault on ISIS positions in Palmyra preparatory to the complete liberation of the ancient city.

(ANTIWAR) During February, at least 2,748 people were killed and 1,224 were wounded. This is a large drop from January, when 4,176 were reported killed and 1,433 were injured. The reduction is likely due to an extensive break in the fighting in Mosul.

An EU parliamentary committee has voted to lift the immunity of French presidential candidate Marine Le Pen.
The decision revolves around free speech, where Le Pen tweeted some graphic photos of Islamic State victims.
EU MP’s were never hot on the idea of free speech, especially when it calls out ISIS atrocities…maybe because the EU (in coordination with the US and Saudi Arabia) has been active in funding ISIS in order to destabilize Syria.
This will not be the first time Le Pen has been lifted of her immunity.

It should come as no surprise that a film celebrating the White Helmets scooped up an Oscar for best short documentary. Might as well hand the Oscar to ISIS leader Abū Bakr al-Baghdadi.
Far from a humanitarian organisation, the White Helmets are an Al Qaeda staffed propaganda group that is embedded with brutal jihadists looking to overthrow the sovereign government of Syria.
