After almost 24 hours passed in which no group claimed responsibility for the mass slaughter of over 28 Coptic Christians on a pilgrimage in Egypt, ISIS have claimed responsibility for the attack.

Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi claimed that the terrorists were trained in Libya and bombed their positions near Libya’s border with Egypt in retaliation for the attack.

Pentagon Admits US Killed 105 Civilians In March Airstrikes On Mosul

Pentagon officials announced Thursday the completion of an investigation confirming that a U.S. airstrike in Mosul against the Islamic State group killed at least 105 civilians, AFP reported. They maintain, however, that the high civilian toll resulted from a secondary explosion of Islamic State group explosives stored in the building.

Gunmen Kill At Least 26 Coptic Christians in Egypt

(MEE) Gunmen attacked a group of Coptic Christians as they were driving to a monastery south of Cairo on Friday, killing 26 and wounding a further 26, medical sources and witnesses said.
The group was traveling in two buses and a truck through the province, which is home to a sizeable Christian minority, he said.
An interior ministry spokesman said the attack was carried out by unidentified gunmen in three four-wheel-drive vehicles.

Just a day after they bombed a village in the Mayadeen area, near the ISIS capital of Raqqa, US warplanes launched yet more airstrikes, and once again the indications out of the area is that everyone slain in the attacks was a civilian, bringing the two-day toll in excess of 50.

Coptic Christians slaughtered in Egypt on pilgrimage to monastery

Egypt’s Coptic Christians once again find themselves under attack from radical Islamists.
Today, at least 28 were killed and over 26 were injured when terrorists shot at Christians on a pilgrimage to the Anba Samuel Monastery near the city of Minya.
Between 8 and 10 heavily armed terrorists surrounded the bus in trucks before opening fire and slaughtering the unarmed Christian martyrs.
