5 lessons from the London terrorist attack

All terrorist events are uniquely tragic, yet many have reoccurring themes that ought to make the powers that be take note and change.
Here are some things to consider
1. NO ONE Has To Live With Terrorism
The idea that any civilians should ‘get used to’ the threat of being blown into a million pieces, hacked to death or shot at any moment, is an insult to the common humanity that binds every good person in the world together.

ISIS failed in London

There is little doubt that the two terrorist incidents in London tonight are the work of Jihadi terrorists acting on behalf of ISIS and that their intention is to intrude in their usual murderous way into the British general election.
This begs the question of whether ISIS will succeed in this objective.  The short answer, which can be given with confidence in the light of previous experience, is that if ‘intruding into the British general election’ equates to changing its outcome, then ISIS will fail.

Terrorist offensive against London on eve of the election

Though is confused, it is now clear that London has been the target of two separate though coordinated terror attacks tonight, one involving a white van which intentionally attacked pedestrians on London Bridge, and another involving stabbing attacks in Borough Market, south of the river Thames.
Reports of a third incident in Vauxhall are being discounted by the police, who say that it is not connected to the other two.
The police report that both incidents are still ongoing, and within the last hour several explosions have been heard.
