As the Hamburg G20 wraps up its second day, the main event has no doubt been the much anticipated first tete-a-tete between Russian president Vladimir Putin and US president Donald Trump.
But while Trump clearly showed great respect for Putin, he apparently has much less regard for Canada’s prime minister Justin Trudeau.
Just prior to the start of a plenary session with all the G20 leaders, Trump struck up a conversation Brazil’s president Michel Temer, asking “How’s Brazil doing?”

Russian President Vladimir Putin has spoken at a press conference where he praised Donald Trump as an active listener who participated attentively in their conversation. As a result Putin stated,

“We will be able to restore, at least partially the level of interaction that we need”.

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange was scheduled to speak via web-link to a conference organised in Hamburg to coincide with the G20.
Just before Assange was about to address the audience, a fire alarm sounded and the authorities forced the attendees to evacuate the building in spite of the fact that there was no fire or any other kind of danger.

Even after the orderly evacuation, attendees were not allowed back into the building and Assange was not able to address the audience.

Speaking next to Britain’s Prime Minister, Donald Trump said the following of his meeting with Vladimir Putin,

“I had a tremendous meeting yesterday with President Putin”.

Tucker Carlson avoided the typical propaganda demonization of Putin that 99% of the mainstream media immediately started to dispense after US President Trump meet with the Russian President in Hamburg during the G20 summit.
Because one of the positive outcomes of the meeting between to the two leaders was a ceasefire in Syria, Assad was also conveniently lumped into the mainstream media demonization blitz as well.
