The two most recent sightings occurred late Wednesday and Thursday, with the first involving two IL-38 maritime patrol aircraft and the second involving two Tu-95 nuclear-capable ‘Bear’ bombers.
The bombers entered the Alaskan Air Defense Identification Zone 700 nautical miles southwest of Anchorage, Alaska – significantly farther from the US coastline than the two other encounters that occurred on Monday and Tuesday.

A 18 year old gunman with purported links to outlawed far-right groups, has opened fire at an office of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) in Khabarovsk in Russia’s Far East. The shooter was killed by an FSB officer.
Unlike federal security services in many countries, Russia’s FSB has offices in almost every city and town, including comparatively remote locations.

In an apparent terrorist attack, a gunman on the historic Champs-Elysées avenue in the center of Paris has opened fire at police officers, killing 1 and wounding 2 others.
Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attack.
France 24 reported that the home of the dead suspect was being searched. Champs-Elysées had been closed down after the attack.

O’Reilly has hosted Fox’s flagship O’Reilly Factor since 1996 and has typically been a big ratings draw for Fox.
It is thought that owner of Fox News, Rupert Murdoch and his son James had argued over whether to fire the embattled host. It seems that James who was less favourable to O’Reilly, has won the argument.
