Is Japan Testing Zero-2?

The first test flight of the Japanese experimental fighter X-2 conducted on April 22, 2106 did not go unnoticed by the mass media. The aircraft is a brainchild of one of the divisions of Mitsubishi Corporation. For the record: during WWII this corporation made a name by producing its famous A6M Zero fighter which dominated the sky over the Pacific Ocean for the first two years of the war.

The nuclear escalation on the Korean Peninsula prompted the People’s Republic of China to amplify its efforts to reboot the Six Party Talks. Chinese Foreign Ministry’s Spokesperson Hong Lei pointed out that UNSC resolution cannot resolve the nuclear crisis on the Korean Peninsula and urged the parties to come back to the negotiation table.

Nuclear Power in Japan: A Steep Climb Upwards

Five years have passed since the nuclear disaster at Japanese nuclear power plant Fukushima Daiichi. The aftermath of this disaster is still heavily affecting Japan.
