Standing next to Germany Chancellor Merkel, The Russian President reminded Merkel that,

“Ukrainian nationalists forced helpless people into the Trade Unions House and burned them alive.
The international community should never forget about this incident and never allow anything like it to happen in the future”

Many in the EU and US fail to accept that Crimea is today, as it was for centuries, a peaceful and integral part of Russia. They seem obsessed by a short aberrational period of history between 1991 and 2014 where the people of Crimea and Sevastopol engaged in a protracted struggle for autonomy and independence from Kiev after the peninsula was transferred to a new state of Ukraine following the illegal break-up of the Soviet Union.
For those who think that the struggle of the Crimean people to return home only began in 2014, they simply do not know history.

An OSCE (Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe) monitor near Prishib village in the Lugansk Peoples’ Republic has died after his car deviated from a man road and drove onto a mine. Another man in the car was injured.
This comes after recent reports of spies and militants loyal to the Kiev regime, using vehicles with OSCE decals to conduct covert missions in the Donbass republics.

Today, the Lugansk People’s Republic in Donbass has issued a statement urging for international condemnation of and further investigations into the chemical weapons that the Kiev regime holds in its weapons arsenals.

Today was the day that the US thought it could break Russia’s partnership with Syria and also with Iran. White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer laid out the goals clearly yesterday. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has welcomed US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson to Moscow for the start of talks on a wide range of issues, said to include: counter-terrorism, Ukraine/Donbass, North Korea and perhaps most urgently, Syria.
In an opening meeting, Sergey Lavrov clarified Russia’s ‘consistent’ position which had been relayed numerous times, but said that he has many questions for the US side.
