Philando Castile’s crime was being born a black man in an age where bigotry and racism should be a thing of the past and yet it oozes and seeps out from the cracks and the holes in the façade, that is used to disguise it under the guise of Law and Order.

Just a few days after Independence Day on July 6th, 2016 Philando, Diamond Reynolds, and their little girl were returning home from shopping when they encountered Officer Jeronimo Yanez , the person that would end Philando’s life and forever changed Diamond and his little girl’s lives in just 62 seconds.
In the 21st Century, anyone with a smartphone and an internet connection can work as a Journalist, with the creation of applications that transmit tips to users and then allows the Journalist to transmit and possibly sell their work to mainstream media outlets.
Almost a week after local Tulsa Law Enforcement Officers shot and killed Joshua Barre during an attempt to capture him, the Dash and Body Camera Videos are released. The video shows the units responding from a distance and arriving nearly simultaneously and about 15 seconds later, taser deployment and then gunshots can be heard. The individuals involved have identified as Tulsa Police Officer Donnie Johnson, 32, and Tulsa County sheriff’s deputies Brandon Walker, 41, and William Ramsey, 49, fired at Barre.
Homestead Police Department (HPD), in South Florida, has myriad problems respecting the First Amendment. I went to HPD this week to serve some officers in a civil rights suit, the story was covered earlier. While entering I discovered that HPD still has not learned that photography is not a crime.
UPDATE: Related to a story titled “Man on Fire, Attacked By Police”, Mayor Steven Fulop ordered the suspension of four Jersey City Police Officers including a Lieutenant with 24 years experience for “acting outside of guidelines” this suspension is very rare, as it is without the benefit of being paid. Suspended were: Lieutenant Keith Ludwig and Officers M.D. Khan, Erik Kosinski and Francisco Rodriguez.
Controversy is not an anomaly when one examines the accusations made against comedian and actor Bill Cosby. And as one would expect the proceedings created a newsworthy event and the media has responded, camping out on the streets, sidewalks and the steps of the Montgomery County Courthouse.

Friday, June 9th, 2017 Tulsa County Oklahoma Deputies claim that while attempting to pick up 29-year-old, Jason Barre, they had no choice but to shoot him in the back as he entered a neighborhood convenience store.
August 20th 2014 in Boyton Beach, Florida after being stopped for speeding and attempting to allude, Byron Harris was yanked from his car, only to be kicked, punched and tazed while surrendering to the four indicted officers.
The officers named in the indictment are Michael C. Brown, Justin R. Harris, Ronald F. Ryan, Jr., and Philip N. Antico.

Count Six: 18 U.S.C. § 1512(b)(3) Obstruction of Justice
A Lakewood Ohio police officer slammed a teenage girl to the ground and broke her jaw, all because the girl’s music was too loud in a public library while she was wearing headphones. The officer even put the girl in a submission move called the “Full Nelson”. And while the girl was bleeding, other officers just stood around and never provided first aid.
Now the officers involved are being sued along with the city of Lakewood and the library where the incident occurred.
