Europe’s Gaullist Revival

Europe is coming back around to the great French statesman’s point of view. But American policymakers have been slow to recognize this.
James CARDEN
The nation state is making a comeback.
Despite decades of pronouncements from Brussels and Strasbourg on the primacy of pan-European solidarity and cross-border cooperation, the European Union’s uneven response to the coronavirus pandemic has only strengthened a trend already well under way in Italy, Hungary, and elsewhere, toward a renewal of national sovereignty on the continent.

How Trump’s America Changed Political Satire – for Both Liberals and Conservatives

Liam KENNEDY
Even before Donald Trump was elected in 2016, he had been providing America’s late night TV show hosts with ample fodder for comedy.
These late night TV shows are the spearhead of political satire for liberal America, and many take their orientation from The Daily Show, which began in 1996. With John Stewart as host after 1999, it developed a mixture of political and news satire that became a popular genre.

Ben Carson weighs in on riots, racism and President Trump [Video]

Doctor Ben Carson ran for President in 2016, and now he serves President Trump as the Secretary of Housing and Development. He was a superb pick because he lived as a severely disadvantaged black boy growing up in the ghetto. One can read more about his story even on Wikipedia, and see that this man had no “privilege” whatsoever, yet he is a world-renowned neurologist. He is deeply Christian, and deeply focused.

Our Grim Future: Restored Neoliberalism or Hybrid Neofascism?

With the specter of a New Great Depression hovering over most of the planet, realpolitik perspectives for a radical change of the political economy framework we live in are not exactly encouraging.
Western ruling elites will be deploying myriad tactics to perpetuate the passivity of populations barely emerging from de facto house arrest, including a massive disciplinary – in a Foucault sense – drive by states and business/finance circles.

What Does Conservatism Mean After The Iraq War?

An Iraqi-American takes stock of how the Right supported regime change and warns of falling into the trap again.
Luma SIMMS
As a Christian and an American citizen of Iraqi heritage, I want to address a point raised in John Burtka’s recent article defending First Things. Namely, the impact of the War in Iraq on Christians in the country and conservatism in America.

An excellent way to distinguish between liberals and conservatives [Video]

Dr Steven Turley has emerged in the last couple years as one of the clearest voices in support of “the new nationalism” that appears to be taking shape in many nations all over the world. This rise of nationalism, populism and traditionalism is revealing the real divide between liberals and conservatives in America and around the world. Most significantly leading this charge is the Russian Federation, but many nations are coming on board: The United Kingdom, Hungary, Italy, the United States, Australia, and some signs of interest in antiglobalism in France.

Dave Reilly - Groyper Revolt Against Israel First Conservative Inc

Dave Reilly, who asked Charlie Kirk "how does anal sex help us win the culture war" at a TPUSA event, joins Henrik and Lana for a segment during Flashback Friday November 1, 2019. We discuss the rift inside the conservative movement. Is is going to be America First or Israel First? Additionally, how are values not traditionally associated with conservative activists going to help win over more people to their cause.
