According to Rasmussen poll taken between June 21 and 24, thirty-one percent (31%) of likely American voters say that it is likely that the United States will suffer a second civil war sometime within the next five years. Eleven percent (11%) believe this war is very likely.

The conflict in the Donbass region of Ukraine has been in the news increasingly of late, and on Thursday 7 June, Russian President Vladimir Putin had some strong statements to make about the Ukrainian policy towards the people in this region.
Former FARC leader Jesús Santrich has been conducting a hunger strike since his arrest on April 9. His looming death ought to be big news in the United States whose government has responsibility for his fate. The U.S. State Department and DEA personnel did the groundwork in Colombia in manufacturing a case against him. The Southern New York District Court is requesting his extradition on a charge of drug-trafficking. Santrich won’t be judged in Colombia.
I recently did a comedy roast of Peter Sweden, a prominent political pundit who claims to be a journalist. He’s been used as a source by Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham, Paul Joseph Watson, Milo, Mike Cernovich, and others abroad.
And that’s problematic considering how dishonest he is. He exaggerates the image of Sweden to the point where it becomes ridiculous, and as a result people don’t take honest critics seriously. This is a concern for all dissidents speaking out.

JP and I speculate over the reasons for this trend, and why the media loves to distract us with “news items” about presidential tweets.
