Baltimore County Cop Appears to be Wearing Body Cam in Korryn Gaines Standoff Despite Police Saying There Were None

Korryn Gaines swore to police they would have to take her out in a body bag during a traffic stop back in March.
But Baltimore County police managed to pull her out of her car that day without killing her, throwing her in jail for two days on several misdemeanors after they pulled her over for driving without a proper license plate.
In place of a license place, she had a piece of cardboard that read: “Any government official who compromises this pursuit to happiness and right to travel, will be held criminally responsible and fined, as this is a natural right to freedom.”

Arkansas Cops Refuse to Return “Medals of Valor” for Killing 107-Year-Old Man

In Pine Bluff, Arkansas, militarized SWAT cops decorated themselves with “Medals of Valor” for killing 107-year-old Monroe Isadore, who reportedly supported his local cops during his enduring decades of living.
Now Pine Bluff Police are defying an order to return their death medals.
Even after the Pine Bluff City Council voted unanimously to rescind them.

New York Cops Arrests Man for Recording, Telling Him, “I’m Going to Fuck You Up” (Updated II)

A New York cop finished making an arrest Thursday before turning to a man recording the arrest from across the street – a man who had not said a word to the officer – and threatened to arrest that man if he said another word.
Maurice “Mo” Crawley did not understand what the cop had just said, so he asked him to repeat himself.
And that was enough to get him arrested.
It was a blatant violation of Crawley’s Constitutional rights as well as a clear case of retaliation from a cop who did not appreciate being recorded.

New Jersey Man Receives $175,000 Settlement for Police Siccing Dog on Him and Deleting His Footage After Recording Cops Attacking Woman

A New Jersey man is $175,000 richer after settling with the capitol city of Trenton after officers kicked and punched him while siccing a police dog on him for recording their vicious assault of a woman while calling her a “bitch” and “cunt”.
Police also confiscated his camera and deleted his footage, but were unable to delete footage from another man recording as well as footage from a surveillance camera. Both those videos are below.

Wall Street Journal Reporter Detained at LAX, Ordered to Hand Over Phones to “Collect Information”

Federal agents detained a Wall Street Journal reporter for more than an hour at Los Angeles International Airport Thursday, demanding she hand over her two cell phones to allow them to “collect information.”
When the reporter balked, citing her right to protect her sources, Homeland Security agents showed her a document stating they had the legal right to seize electronic devices without a warrant or probable cause within 100 miles of the border.

Shortly after they arrived at her Fort Myers home on July 11, the deputy allegedly punched Jasmine Aguilera’s friend, Waldemar Suarez, then spun her around so she wouldn’t witness her children being taken by the state.

Louisiana police suspended the First Amendment during mass protests in Baton Rouge over the weekend, sweeping up journalists and protesters alike for exercising their rights to free speech.
One of those arrested was Lee Stranahan, a Black Lives Matter critic, filmmaker and news reporter for the conservative news outlet Breitbart.

In a chilling display of police intimidation, Rochester police dressed in riot gear snatched a woman away as she was conducting an on-camera interview with a news reporter during a protest against police abuse in New York Saturday night.
“I’m not going to hit anybody, I’m not going to shoot anybody,” said the woman, whose name is not known at this time. “I’m going to speak to you, I’m going to use my words.”
“I’m going to articulate myself because the message needs to be heard, the message is important,” she expressed to Tara Grimes, a reporter for Time-Warner Cable.
