Following the libel claim brought in the High Court in London by businessman Alexey Gubarev against ex-MI6 spy Christopher Steele in connection with the sensational claims made about him in the Trump Dossier which Christopher Steele compiled, comes news of another libel claim, this time brought in a court in the State of Massachusetts by Russia’s Alfa-Bank against Buzzfeed, the media publication which first published the Trump Dossier back in January.
 

Christopher Steele, the British ex-MI6 spy who compiled the sensational Trump Dossier which lies at the heart of the Russiagate investigation, has admitted in legal proceedings that the Dossier contains information which is ‘unverified’.
Steele made his admission in a defamation case brought against him in London by businessman Alexey Gubarev who is referred to in the Trump Dossier as someone involved in the hacking of the DNC.

It now appears that we are entering a phase where the entire Russiagate fake news is collapsing unto itself, with little fanfare and media attention…given that North Korea and Trump’s war presidency has placated the liberal left and neocon right.

It has become increasingly clear over the last two weeks that the amateur sleuths who are driving Russiagate are taking the Trump Dossier prepared by the British ex-MI6 officer Christopher Steele as their starting point.
This is despite the fact that the Trump Dossier is still “uncorroborated”, and has been trashed by seasoned intelligence professionals like former CIA Acting Assistant Director Michael Morell.

Shortly after I wrote my article about how the Russiagate scandal is flagging, an article appeared on the BBC’s website which confirmed my article’s key point: that no evidence has been found of collusion during the US election between Russia and the Trump campaign.
