BREAKING: Kim Jong Un says there is no need for additional nuclear weapons testing

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has issued a statement indicating that North Korea will put an end to its nuclear weapons testing.
By the 21st of April, the North Korean military will discontinue its nuclear weapons and ballistic missile testing program, according to North Korea’s state run media, the KCNA.
North Korea only has one testing site known to the outside world and it is located at Punggye-ri, which Kim says that he “will shut down” so as to “prove the vow to suspend nuclear tests.”

Putin and Trump will not allow armed conflict between Russia and US – Lavrov

In an interview with RIA Novosti, Russian news, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov discussed the possibility of a direct military confrontation between the USA and the Russian Federation, and why he believes that the presidents of these nations, Russia and the United States, will not allow such a conflict to materialize:

OOPS! Two unexploded cruise missiles delivered to Russia from Syria

The TASS News Agency reported on 19 April that the Syrian military found two cruise missiles that did not explode during the US-led missile strike of April 14. Both missiles were discovered to be in relatively good shape, and they were handed over to a Russian military officer on April 17.
After this, the missiles were flown to Russia by plane, presumably for analysis. TASS could not confirm this independently with the Russian Defense Ministry at this time.

Syrian air defense intercepts missile strike of unknown origin

Syrian forces have thwarted an attempted attack on the Shayrat air base in the Homs province that started early Tuesday morning. The Pentagon has denied responsibility for the attack but says that there are many players in the game. The attack came from Lebanese airspace leading many to believe that Israel could be the culprit. Israel, however, has refused to comment.

US, UK, and France launch strikes against Syria, explosions heard in Damascus

Moments ago, US President Donald Trump addressed the America people with a prepared statement that military action in Syria by the US and its partners, the UK and France, has been approved and is currently on-going.
The strikes are part of an “international response” against “the monster” Bashar al-Assad and his regime in retaliation for the alleged chemical attack conducted over the weekend in Douma, on the outskirts of Damascus. The strikes are said by POTUS Donald Trump to be continued until Assad ceases his use of chemical weapons.

US deploys naval task force to Mediterranean, ready to strike Syria

Just after US President Donald Trump expressed his desire to get American forces out of Syria, due to the fact that American forces haven’t accomplished anything useful to America while over there and have just ended up costing a boat load of money and causing lots of death and destruction, he is now sending a naval task force to the Mediterranean to meet up with its destroyer the USS Donald Cook as the US gears up for war in Syria against Assad and his allies.
