Trader Joe’s Promotes Israeli Snack To ‘Fight Hunger’, While Gaza’s Children Suffer

Opinion Trader Joes’ has just announced that it will be selling a snack made for it in Israel, “Trader Joe’s Bamba Peanut Snacks.”
The announcement reports that Bamba is “the  best-selling snack in Israel” and crows that it’s one of the few grocery stores that carry it: “Bamba is tricky to find in general (most U.S. grocers don’t carry the stuff).”

This Is Not National Unity

The reconciliation agreement signed between rival Palestinian parties, Hamas and Fatah, in Cairo on October 12 was not a national unity accord – at least, not yet. For the latter to be achieved, the agreement would have to make the interests of the Palestinian people a priority, above factional agendas.
The leadership crisis in Palestine is not new. It precedes Fatah and Hamas by decades.

Tony Blair Expresses Regret Over Boycott Of Hamas

World leaders were wrong to boycott Hamas after it won Palestinian elections in 2006, former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair has said for the first time according to the Guardian newspaper.
In an interview with the paper, Blair said:

In retrospect I think we should have, right at the very beginning, tried to pull [Hamas] into a dialogue and shifted their positions. I think that’s where I would be in retrospect.”

Why Boycotting & Divesting Is A Crucial Tool For Change

Boycotting is a proven to be an effective tool to fight against the corporate state. But in a country like America, where we are so deeply conditioned to consume, it can be very tough.
That being said, there are pockets of boycott movements happening throughout the country. Whether it be demanding that banks divest from investing in fossil fuel projects or advocate groups going after the advertisers on hate-speech websites, it does exist.
The next step is for people to do what they can to not support corporations that are destroying us.

A “highly classified” press release by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which was published by WikiLeaks, reveals the level of rapprochement between Riyadh and Tel Aviv.
Saudi Arabia initiated discussions on the issue of normalization with Israel and the 2002 Saudi peace initiative that was adopted by the Arab League at the Beirut Summit in the same year.

Israel’s finance minister is working on a set of measures to revoke tax benefits for anyone that supports Amnesty International’s campaign for a boycott against the Israeli occupation.
Sources in Israel have reported that the Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon is working to introduce a set of measures to revoke tax benefits from Amnesty International’s supporters, in accordance with the Boycott Law.

Israel Issues New Rules For Banning Boycott Supporters

The Israeli government has issued new criteria on Tuesday for banning people who advocate boycotting Israel.
The announcement came a day after five interfaith activists were prohibited from boarding a flight from the US to Israel reportedly because of their involvement in the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement.
