The Israeli government has issued new criteria on Tuesday for banning people who advocate boycotting Israel.
The announcement came a day after five interfaith activists were prohibited from boarding a flight from the US to Israel reportedly because of their involvement in the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement.
On July 9, 2005, Palestinian civil society made the Call for BDS, which demands an end to Israel’s military occupation and the dismantling of its illegal wall.
Twelve years ago, one of the most prominent calls for non-violent resistance to Israel’s military occupation was launched. The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions, BDS, movement has since made waves, securing hundreds of wins over the years against Israeli oppression against Palestinians.
(REPORT) — Undercover recordings seen by Middle East Eye have revealed how an Israeli diplomat sought to establish organisations and youth groups to promote Israeli influence inside the opposition Labour party in an effort to undermine Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership.
In secret conversations filmed by an undercover reporter, Shai Masot, a senior political officer at the Israeli embassy in London, described his plans to set up a youth wing of the Labour Friends of Israel (LFI) organisation and revealed that he had set up other organisations in the past.

The biggest losers are the Jews. The fact that the behavior of Netanyahu and his allies is repeatedly endorsed by a significant number of Jews inside and outside of Israel confirms that, except for the Holocaust, Zionism is the worst thing to happen to Jews and Judaism in the modern era. It has tied a people and a religion to a racist political ideology that is a variant on the criminal practice of apartheid.
