Reportage from Minneapolis — The city of Minneapolis is where it all began. It is where the last drop fell on the surface of a proverbial overflowing lake, causing the dam to burst, consequently starting to destroy the foundations of the empire.
A death of just one single man can, under certain dreadful circumstances, put into motion the entire avalanche of events. It can smash the whole regime into pieces. It can fully rewrite history, and even change the identity of a nation. It can… although it not always does.

We’re now emerging from an intense period of racial justice protests that began after the killing of George Floyd. It was exhilarating and pride-inspiring to witness the multitudes in the Lehigh Valley (Pa) who “took it to the streets” on behalf of racial equality, especially the waves of Black and white young people. According to the Pew Research Center, some 15 million adults participated in the protests which makes it the largest movement in American history.

What do young progressives believe? In the popular vernacular, they are described as “liberals” or “leftists,” but these familiar labels obscure what is novel about the ideology many young activists are trying to advance in our universities, cultural institutions, media outlets, and even corporations. On issues of race, diversity, gender, and sexual expression these activists have made a clean break with their liberal forebearers.

62% say the violence will affect their vote in the next election. [Of course it will, which may be the reason for the violence and anti-white insults in the first place. If President Trump declares martial law, it will be perceived as a move to stop the violence instead of a move to lockdown the non-violent majority).

Two-year-old Owen Buell, who is being treated for Stage-4 cancer, was denied his planned birthday party and, instead, cowered in his room with his family, fearful of the mob.

Just in case you didn’t know, those colours are every shade of red, and most definitely not black.
The rioting and looting that has been going on for months in the United States hit Chicago again after a man named Latrell Allen shot at police.  They were in the area in response to a report of a man with a gun. Allen was seriously injured but thankfully not that seriously. He was taken to hospital, but word went round that an unarmed black man had been shot and killed by the police.

JPMorgan Chase CEO Jaime Dimon very publicly took a knee outside a New York branch of his bank in early June, also circulating a memo declaring the financial institution’s supposed dedication to struggling against injustice.

Chicago PD reported 13 police officers were injured, and there was $60-million worth of property damage. Chicago Black Lives Matter says they will continue to "rouse up" until the Chicago Police Department is abolished.
