Yesterday, Boris Johnson cancelled plans for a scheduled spring visit to the White House following a heated telephone exchange with Donald Trump, with issues becoming so contentious it led the US President to hang up the phone on the British Prime Minister.

The UK security council met on Tuesday to discuss whether or not to exclude Huawei from providing Britain’s 5G networks, which are to be rolled out gradually by 2022. The outcome? A compromise: Huawei is to have a limited role, allowed to account for 35% of the equipment in a network’s periphery, which includes radio masts. In addition it will be banned from sensitive areas such as military bases and nuclear sites.

New wireless antennas are rapidly being attached to streetlights and utility poles directly in front of homes and schools. 5G will dramatically increase the general public’s involuntary daily exposure to radiofrequency electromagnetic fields. 5G technology has never been safety tested for long-term exposure.

5G may be a killer technology as the same frequencies and antenna-delivery systems have already been adopted by the military for use as weapons of war and crowd control. There is a race is to get the technology fully implemented before the the push back becomes too large to ignore.
