The laxative product MiraLAX seems harmless enough. Doctors recommend it and it can be purchased over-the-counter at any pharmacy. It’s not the sort of product you would think could cause serious mental problems in children, but many parents claim such side effects are real; they’ve seen it with their own eyes.
The complaints were numerous enough and serious enough for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) to quietly launch an FDA-funded study into the matter.
Failed Evolution | April 30, 2017 Media mogul Agustin Edwards Eastman, who was widely regarded as the Rupert Murdoch of Chile, died on April 24, at age 89, leaving a legacy of close collaboration with Henry Kissinger and the CIA in instigating and supporting the September 11, 1973, military coup. The FBI's involvement in Hollywood began in the early 1930s - before it was even called the FBI. In 1933 MGM approached the Bureau about producing a series of short films based on real-life criminal cases. They were provided access to Bureau files and in exchange agreed to let J Edgar Hoover review and vet the scripts to ensure he was happy with how his men were being portrayed. Internal Bureau memos and copies of scripts show that in particular, Hoover was not happy with the phrase 'Federal Dick'.
President Donald Trump has rejected Exxon Mobil waivers to operate in Russia, which it had asked for and received in 2015 and 2016. In 2012, the then CEO Rex Tillerson negotiated a deal with Rosneft, worth as much as $500 billion in joint investments, to explore deposits in the Black Sea, the Arctic and Russia’s Far East.

During most of my 40 years as a Pyongyang watcher I’ve avoided watching television. That simple expedient helped save me from getting caught up in an annual, totally predictable panic that erupts when joint US-South Korean military exercises prompt North Korea to issue dire threats.
This weekend saw the White House Correspondents Association dinner take place to little fanfare. In fact the dinner got trumped by a Trump rally taking place in Pennsylvania at the same exact time.
Here is daily show comedian, Hasan Minhaj (video below) laying out some very predictable Trump jokes, for which the 99% liberal left press corps applauds, while the rest of the world scratches their heads in astonishment at how detached the elite press and hollywood snowflakes truly are from real world issues.
Ever since the Cuban Revolution of 1959, Cuba has not exactly been the most pro-American country in the world.
Cuba’s May Day celebrations therefore are not exactly the kind of place to express a pro-American message, but one man did just that when he ran through a May Day parade route waving an American flag.
It has to be seen to be believed.
The post Watch what happens when you wave an American flag in Cuba appeared first on The Duran.
Is North Korea really a nuclear threat? The numbers behind the country’s successful missile launches show a declining success rate.

The Palestinian group Hamas which currently controls the government in Gaza, has released a new political charter. This comes days before Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas form the rival faction Fatah has his first meeting with Donald Trump.
There are three key difference in the current charter from the previous charter of 1988.
Previously, Hamas wanted a re-emergent Palestinian state to be consecrated on all of former Mandate Palestine, the so-called 1948 borders.
This week the Kiev regime went into rogue overdrive when it cut off electricity supplies to some three million people in the self-declared Lugansk republic of eastern Ukraine. The Ukrainian energy ministry under the control of the Kiev regime said it was because the breakaway province was in arrears over bill payments. That’s rich coming from a cabal that has continually dragged its feet over unpaid bills for billions of dollars-worth in gas supplies from Russia.
T.S. Eliot said, “April is the cruellest month”. For those who wanted a Trump administration that was anti-interventionist, diplomatic and focused mainly on domestic issues, April was cruel indeed. But now that May has begun, there are several signs which are impossible to ignore, suggesting that Trump may be slowly getting back to his pre-April self.
1. Middle East versus Domestic Expenditure
Russia-gate, the Democrats’ over-the-top attempt to blame the Kremlin for Hillary Clinton’s disastrous campaign, has become the party’s go-to excuse to avoid confronting how it lost touch with average Americans, says Norman Solomon.
In today’s Le Monde I call upon French progressives to vote for Macron in the second round of France’s Presidential election. The article explains my recommendation to French voters and finishes off with the following promise to Emmanuel:
Sputnik – 02.05.2017 The majority of Americans believe that the US was already spending too much on the military budget — even before the Trump administration’s $54-billion increase for defense spending. Associated Press reported that on April 24 «a senior US military official speaking on condition of anonymity said in Kabul that Russia was giving machineguns and other medium weight weapons to the [Taliban]». No evidence was offered, and there was no confirmation from anywhere else concerning the allegation. And nobody pointed out that neither the Taliban nor any other militant group — including the private armies of the CIA-supported warlords — have any need of extra weapons, as they have plenty of their own that they have obtained by various means over the years...
Did the Deep State deep-six Trump’s populist revolution? Many observers, especially among his fans, suspect that the seemingly untamable Trump has already been housebroken by the Washington, “globalist” establishment. If true, the downfall of Trump’s National Security Adviser Michael Flynn less than a month into the new presidency may have been a warning sign. And […]
A new book about Hillary Clinton’s last campaign for president – Shattered, by journalists Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes – has gotten a lot of publicity since it appeared two weeks ago. My recent posts here have dealt with my current project of putting together a book of short works of literature that have interesting economic ideas embedded in them. I've gotten suggestions both here and in response to emails that I sent to people who I thought might help. Some of the suggestions I expect to use. But my reaction to most of them was that they were not what I was looking for. The purpose of this post is to explain why.

(ANTIMEDIA) — If the public were to rely solely on the U.S. government and its respective mouthpieces for its source of news, one might assume Iran is to blame for the current crisis engulfing Yemen, the Arab world’s poorest country.
From Reuters:
“At least 10,000 people have been killed and more than 3 million displaced in the war in Yemen, now in its third year. Millions of people are also struggling to feed themselves.
With so much attention being focused over the last while on the situation in North Korea, little attention has been paid to how our criminal governments, and especially the one here in Canada, are pushing forward with their want to impose a new fraud "tax" on their citizens called a "Carbon Tax"... This fraud is of course based upon the LIE that somehow Carbon Dioxide is a "Greenhouse Gas" and the lie that this tax has to be imposed on everyone to try to curb "Carbon Emissions"...
