by NoahLots of people say Saturday Night Live isn't as good as it once was. You know..."people are saying." They may be right. They may be wrong, but I did hear that the last episode of the season had Eddie Murphy for the first time in 35 years and was very good and got "great ratings." The only negative comments I heard of supposedly came from republicans and Bill Cosby (Now there's a pairing). Apparently that stemmed from Cosby calling Murphy a "Hollywood slave" and some Repugs jumped on it. You know they have a fixation with Hollywood.Anyway, I'm happy for SNL and Eddie Murphy, but I do have a surefire winning idea for the opening show of next season. It's this: Invite the only former host to ever be impeached back as the host again. It's a can't miss ratings winner, and Trump would appreciate the high ratings, wouldn't he? Of course, if it was up to me, he should be forced to do the entire show in an orange jumpsuit, leg irons and handcuffs, and he would be the butt of every single sketch and joke. The producers of SNL should contract the best joke writers in the business and they should be merciless, savage. The show could be made into one of the most viewed TV shows of all time. Hell, make it a Pay-Per-View worldwide satellite broadcast. Turn up the audience mics and let the laughter rise and rise and encompass Trump. Trap him on the stage so he can't leave. Watch him crack from the knowledge that the world is laughing at him. Billions of people laughing at him all at once. Pipe it in so he could hear it all. I would graciously console him with the news of the "high ratings" as he slips into into a writhing fetal position, sobbing uncontrollably.Bring down the curtain.
