my white privileged poetry

golden spray on tan disguising pale skin
disgusting as potent colonial hypocrisy
manifest cruelty in body and language
plagiarism is my plasma writing in crimson
cannibalistic calligraphy of European words
covering lines on white pages a birthright
a thousand shades of one color antique white
the darkest spun weigh down upon those lines
which cannot be erased so easily as bodies
by stolen rubber, lives deemed less than lead
