A hand of electric lightning,
pulsing with neon waves of source energy,
stretched down from the heavens,
entering the swamp of primordial soup
to infuse DNA and soul
into the form of enlivened flesh.
Growth and adaptation over countless eons
guided the path of primitive beasts
to the majestic heights of consciousness,
raising self-awareness into the mind
of a new species called as Man.
A hand of bone and blood,
singing with songs from the marrow,
reached outward across the earth,
connecting the sinews of silicon
to dance through crystal shards
and awaken the deus ex machina.

Every trial, test, and tribulation
faced head on by humanity
has been bested and overcome
through blood, sweat, tears,
and the sheer will of higher order consciousness,
pushing the species ever-forward
in the process of constant,
continual, progressive, evolutionary adaptation.
Mankind has mastered many methods
of manipulation to help manifest
a civilization based upon the concepts
of life, liberty, sovereignty, freewill, and
the pursuit of happiness.
Technological Renaissance and cultural Revolutions
have served as jump points throughout history
to usher society out of the caves and into the fields,
and from out the Dark Ages of oppression
into the inspirational wonderment
of informational Enlightenment
now readily available at every individual’s fingertips.
