Any ideology of supremacist law
enforced by political and religious despots
is completely antithetical
to the enlightened values
of free, sovereign, liberated people
No amount of wishful thinking
or politically correct patty-cake
will change the fact
that authoritarian terrorists
have declared war on secular human civilization
Pandering to and capitulating with maniacs
who murder homosexuals and repress women
is not a sign of cultural understanding
which will someday lead to perfect peace
in a make believe fantasy world utopia
At some point the adults have to speak out
with a hard-line stance making it clear
that the inheritors of Renaissance
will not cower and bury our heads in the sand
while the worst villains on earth run amok
True Muslims, true Christians, true Jews,
true Buddhists, true Taoists, true atheists,
true agnostics, and all moral human beings
of every race, color, and creed must stand up in solidarity
to detoxify this cancer that is rapidly metastasizing
