In the beginning
there was the “word”
and it was imagined
and it was fake
When they thought
no one was there
to look
to see and write
the facts
they invented
reality circumvented
and forced
us all to worship
idols, myths,
substituting truth
these priests
who call themselves
“people of the book”
A book
they forbade all
to read
while preaching
god was blessing
greed.
A faith
they did not
even have
cast in gold
from stolen calves;
An earthly sphere
they declared a plate
filled with booty
and still ingrate
invented sin
their theft to bless
and hired journalists
to report the mess.
