Ukraine Chief To Meet Obama, Biden, Kerry; Address Atlantic Council

Poroshenko arrives in United States

KYIV: Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, leading an official delegation, arrived in the U.S. capital, Washington, on Wednesday evening (Washington time) on his first official visit to the United States.
According to Ukrinform’s correspondent, the main part of the visit will be held on Thursday, September 18.
In particular, the head of state is due to meet with U.S. President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, and Secretary of State John Kerry.
The Ukrainian president will also address a joint session of the Senate and House of Representatives of the U.S. Congress. Poroshenko is also to give an interview to the CNN channel, and deliver a speech at the Atlantic Council.
Poroshenko is expected to complete his visit to the United States on Thursday and leave for Ukraine.
