Baku: The NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai expressed his satisfaction with results of Wales summit, APA reports quoting Gruziya online website.
According to him, though there were arguments on final statement, regarding Georgia, every one shared same position.
“All NATO members think that Georgia should join the alliance and this country will absolutely reach its goal. However, this should happen in a short-run. NATO members Georgia has all elements for joining the alliance. At the same time, national annual program and NATO-Georgia commission are already new package for cooperation. This package will accelerate Georgia to join the alliance”, Appathurai added.
