First they came for the homeless
I said nothing, I was not homeless.
They came for the welfare recipients
I said nothing, I was not on welfare.
They came for the working poor
I said nothing, I was not poor.
They came for the trade unionists,
I said nothing, I was not union.
They came for the elderly and sick,
I said nothing, as I was not either.
They came for the uneducated,
I said nothing, I was educated.
They came for the middle classes,
That only left the elite,
to speak for you and me, and
they only speak for themselves.
Altruistic democracy: a proletarian’s tool
Use it or lose it! What say you?
You did not think it could get this bad?
It got that bad when the first citizen
in our country became homeless, and
died on our good streets.
