Ukrainian forces eliminate up to 100 militants over last 24 hours
The counterterrorism operation (ATO) forces have destroyed a number of terrorist bases and eliminated about a hundred militants over the last 24 hours, the ATO press centre has reported.
“As a result of air strikes and artillery fire, up to 100 militants and their bases were destroyed in Rovenky, Izvaryne and the village of Novosvitlivka near Luhansk, firing points in the vicinity of Savur-Mohyla, and at the waste heaps of Mine No. 71 (Rovenky),” reads the statement…

23 Ukrainian servicemen killed overnight, including 19 military, 4 border guards – NSDC
The anti-terrorist operation forces have lost 23 people killed over the past 24 hours, including 19 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and four border guards, spokesman for the National Security and Defense Council information center Andriy Lysenko has said.
“Regretfully, over the past 24 hours 23 participants of the anti-terrorist operation, including 19 from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and four border guards, have been killed during combat missions in different areas,” he said at a press briefing on Friday.

Twenty-three Ukrainian troops killed, nearly 100 wounded in past 24 hours – military operation spokesman
Twenty-three members of the Ukrainian government forces have been killed and about 100 others wounded in the anti-terrorist operation in southeastern Ukraine over the past 24 hours, Vladyslav Selezniov, an operation spokesman, said on Facebook on Friday.
“Twenty-three servicemen from Ukrainian forces and the State Border Service have been killed in the past 24 hours performing special missions in various districts where an active phase of the anti-terrorist operation is ongoing. Ninety-three Ukrainian servicemen and border guards have sustained injuries and concussions of various degrees,” Selezniov said.
Ukrainian military planes also carried out two airstrikes…near the community of Perevalsk, Luhansk region, on Friday, Selezniov said…
