Signum Fidei

On religion’s highway
where so many travel,
moonbeams and sunlight
no faith unravel.
Friendship, romance
and even art
move on foot
with no holy cart.
They pass the days
and nights
so deep
without prayers,
without sleep.
Salvation’s myths
and sin they flout,
content to flourish
in all life’s doubt.
Their journey
forms a circle round,
in birth’s first breath
till death abounds.
