SUPREME ALLIED COMMANDER EUROPE VISITS KOSOVO

Pristina, KOSOVO: Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR), General Philip Breedlove visited HQ KFOR at Camp “Film City” in Pristina on Wednesday, 30 July 2014 where he met with KFOR Commander General Salvatore Farina and soldiers assigned to Kosovo Force.
General Breedlove was briefed by COM KFOR and the international HQ Staff on the latest developments in the current security and political situation in Kosovo as well as the wider Balkans region.

General Breedlove also met soldiers assigned to the force and emphasized the importance of their role in the delicate and complex context of the Balkans as well as the need to continue to accomplish the mission promoting progress and dialogue in the region.
During the visit General Breedlove, accompanied by General Farina, had the opportunity to meet the “Quint Ambassadors” of France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States and the Representatives of the International Community in Kosovo, namely the EU Special Representative, EULEX Head of Mission, UNMIK Special Representative of Secretary General and the OSCE Head of Mission.
