by NoahPutin as the man who controls Trump's puppet strings has gotten a lot of play but not nearly enough. Ideally we would hear the complete horrid details quickly and not just more suggestive tidbits years from now after all the players are dead and buried, which is usually how it goes down when it comes to the sordid parts of our American history. We hear some about cash from Putin's Russian mob of oligarchs but not all the details of the quid pro quo. We're left to assume based on what we know of the character and habits of those involved.Just how far are foreign governments going in their attempts or successes in manipulating the very machines of our democracy? It's the same with the massive amounts of cash that the Saudis give Trump by renting huge blocks of rooms in his hotels whether they actually stay there or not. He loves it when they buy his apartments, too. What other investments in Trump are they making, quasi-legal and otherwise? What is Jared Kushner really doing over in Riyadh so much? How many new Trump hotels, resorts, etc. can we expect to see in the next few years on foreign land and what are the trade offs? You know they will be there. That's part of the very transactional Trump M.O.Our government has always sold the Saudis huge amounts of weaponry but now, on the matter of to bomb Iran or not to bomb Iran, Trump says he'll wait to hear from the Saudi royals as to "under what terms we would proceed" if there is to be retaliation retaliation for the recent drone attack on the Saudi oil facility. Perhaps, the whole thing will end up being timed for October 2020, but when that call from the Saudi king comes, Trump will take that call and it will be "Yes, master!" Call it synergy. Seems to most rational people, however, that if the Saudis want to retaliate, they could do it all by themselves with the weapons we've been selling them for years. Instead, it appears that the Saudis might want us use our military to do it for them, but in return for what? Campaign cash? I guess the Saudis expect a big return for their investment in Trump. Trump may end up delivering, too. After all, Trump wouldn't want to see any bribery exposed or his sleazebag son-in-law get the ol' Khashoggi treatment. Would Trump just shrug his fat shoulders at that, too? Actually, he probably would. It's who he is, or should I say, what?I'm imagining a near future telecast tournament where the worst leaders of the world fight it out amongst themselves over who gets final control and say over what their bought and paid for pal Trump says and does next. The Russians, Chinese, and the Saudis in particular seem to be propping up the Trump Crime Family's businesses with "loans," hotel stays, and suspicious business waivers (I'll leave the developing story of what's going on with Trump and Ukraine for another day.) They all want their tentacles sunk deeply into the very foundations of America, like termites, welcomed termites, and Trump is apparently willing to sell them anything on up and including to the land America is built on itself to make the family businesses profitable despite his managerial incompetence. Of course, it's obviously not just that. Trump is looking for election help not just in the form of cash from the Saudis but hacking from the Russians. Can you see Trump trying to sell the Statue of Liberty to Kim Jong-un for beachfront property in North Korea? Sure you can. Lady liberty is just a symbol for something he's already dumping anyway. Has anyone checked to see if the Constitution on display in Washington is the real one?How long before, in desperation, he starts asking for hit squads from Duterte?
