Our shadows visit at night
on occasion one will linger on
especially so for the young.
The young man’s interrogators
force his darker shadows to rise
and kindly fatten them up,
no matter the innocents dead.
We caught the alien bomber!
(reported shot by out-of-state agents,
a death with less than glory).
