This Is How Trump Is Stealing Hillary’s Thunder During the DNC

(ANTIMEDIA) Anyone expecting Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump to quietly wait in the wings and let his opponent take center stage has either not been paying attention… or has sorely underestimated his campaign strategy.
Even with the Democratic party turned upside down, yet again, after Senator Bernie Sanders handed Hillary the nomination at the Democratic National Convention Tuesday, it’s not Hillary Clinton currently standing in the spotlight — it’s Donald Trump. The mayhem that has unfolded at the convention center in Philadelphia isn’t trending at the top of Twitter today. Russia is. Why? Because Donald Trump just Kanye’d the f*ck out of Hillary Clinton.

Wikileaks delivered a devastating blow to Hillary’s campaign last week, leaking almost 20,000 damning emails sent from the Democratic National Committee and unearthing a trove of unethical behavior by the party. Clinton’s staff released a statement the next day to address the scandal, blaming the Russian government for snooping. The FBI has since launched an investigation, backing the narrative that the Kremlin is in cahoots with Trump to sabotage the former First Lady’s campaign.
Earlier today, Trump responded during a news conference by denying any involvement but stressing the importance of finding the thousands of emails lost or deleted from Hillary’s personal server. “They probably have her 33,000 emails. I hope they do. They probably have her 33,000 emails that she lost and deleted because you’d see some beauties there. So let’s see.” He went on to look directly at the cameras before stating, “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing. I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press.”
Clinton’s campaign wasted no time in retaliating with accusations suggesting Trump is a threat to national security. Policy advisor Jake Sullivan stated:
“This has to be the first time that a major presidential candidate has actively encouraged a foreign power to conduct espionage against his political opponent. This has gone from being a matter of curiosity, and a matter of politics, to being a national security issue.”
So far, however, there is nothing Hillary Clinton or her staff have been able to come up with to stop the press from eating directly from the hands of a madman.
From the moment Donald Trump announced his presidential bid during a highly-publicized rally at Trump Towers, he established himself as the Pied Piper of mainstream media. He played his music to the press rats, who hopped out of trash cans and crawled out of gutters to listen to every note and follow his every step as he danced his way up the mountain toward the Oval Office. He’s almost there.
