Empire in Africa
Obama has expanded Special Operations warfare around the world to over 100 countries. This global war has taken on a new focus on the continent of Africa, where the Obama administration quietly announced the deployment of troops to 35 countries, largely to train domestic repressive military forces. Drone bases are being built on the continent, and the Pentagon’s Africa Command (AFRICOM) has been working with and coordinating military activities across the entire continent since 2008, while a global land grab has accelerated since 2009, placing Africa squarely in the targets of the Global Godfather of the American Empire.
