Law professor Sanford Levinson talks about his new book, and why he wants to make changes to the Constitution.Levinson's new book is Fault Lines in the Constitution: The Framers, Their Fights, and the Flaws that Affect Us Today, co-authored with his wife Cynthia Levinson, who has published several children's books.  Their collaboration has produced an interesting, highly accessible book about our contract with our government.
Levinson explains the idea behind the book, which is to engage young people in the history and import of the Constitution, and to define many of its flaws.
Notably, Levinson thinks it's too hard to remove a president, and argues that California's recall process is much more responsive to voters than the federal impeachment process.  The book also includes a transcript of his debate with his wife about the potential and risks of a Constitutional convention to amend elements they think need revision.
