We also go over the counterinsurgency and paramilitary tactics employed by police in Ferguson, and throughout the United States, and the similarities in how occupying forces act in places like Gaza. Lastly, we touch on the role of the media, both in the way events have been covered and how police forces in Ferguson have deliberately targeted journalists to suppress information.
