The Bleating of Billionaires

They hide out like
two-bit robbers,
only they hide in plain
sight, strutting and
grinning ear-to-ear,
giant-toothed, golden
smiles of deceit and
murder. Billionaire
wunderkinds flashing
crimes like badges of
honor in the crumbling
night, honored thugs in
this raging feeding
frenzy called America.
But now they feel put
upon, attacked,
mishandled, abused,
undervalued, herded
into camps of
persecution like
Hitler’s victims! Oh,
woe to the filthy
rich, whining and
howling from
gleaming
mountaintops
about this terrible
injustice, the sad
victims of vile
jealousy and envy.
Without them, they
wail, life as we know
it would cease to exist.
Exactly what the rest
of us are hoping for.
