Exercise “Noble Partner” Planning Conference
A final planning conference of the “Noble Partner” US-Georgia Joint Exercise was held in IV Mechanized Brigade in Vaziani.
The exercise will be conducted in Georgia for the first time and aims at bringing the Georgian Company closer to the NATO Response Force and maintaining the Company`s high preparedness level for participation in the upcoming NATO trainings and operations.
The Chief of the General Staff of the GAF Major-General Vakhtang Kapanadze attended the conference. Chief of Defence thanked the American guests for assistance and wished success to the Georgian military unit.
The US-Georgia Joint Exercise will be conducted on the territory of Vaziani military air field and military firing-ground in May. The 12th Battalion of I Light Infantry Brigade of the Georgian Armed Forces, I Mechanized Company of 42nd Battalion of IV Mechanized Brigade and Military Police Platoon will take part in the exercise. From the U.S. side, the companies of the US Army`s armored vehicles will engage in the exercise too.
