Western Military Attaches Assist Georgia’s NATO Interoperability

Today, the Deputy Minister of Defence has received the military attaches of foreign countries accredited to Georgia.
Mikheil Darchiashvili has held a meeting with the representatives of the diplomatic corps for the first time in his capacity as Deputy Minister.
Mikheil Darchiashvili informed the visitors on the current defence reforms and future plans.
The discussions referred to the perspectives of Georgia`s accession into NATO and EU. The sides also stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral cooperation with the U.S and European partners. “We have multilateral relations with them in order to define new areas over which we will cooperate more intensively, that will ultimately lead to Georgia`s integration into the Alliance and enhancement of interoperability with our allies”, said Deputy Minister.
