NATO trust to be used to reform Ukrainian army
KYIV: This week, Ukraine and NATO are to agree on start of practical implementation of the Alliance’s trust fund to reform the control and communication system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Mission of Ukraine to NATO has reported this to an Ukrinform correspondent in Brussels.
“On Friday, April 24, at the NATO headquarters, the parties will sign the Memorandum between the Government of Ukraine and the NATO Communications and Information Agency, needed to start the practical implementation of the NATO trust fund to reform the control and communication system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the Mission reported.
The document will be signed by the Head of Mission of Ukraine to NATO, Ambassador Ihor Dolhov and General Manager of the NATO Communications and Information Agency Koen Gijsbers.
