The death toll from the St. Petersburg metro bombing rose overnight Tuesday to 14 with dozens dead as investigators identified a 22-year-old Kyrgyz male as the bomber.

Officials in Kyrgyzstan confirmed Dzahilov as the bomber and said he had moved from their territory to Russia where he became a Russian citizen.
The bombing was swiftly condemned by world leaders including German Chancellor Angela Merkel who called it a barbaric act.
In a press conference late Monday afternoon, European Union Foreign Policy chief Federica Mogherini pledged European support for Russia.
US President Donald Trump called Russian President Vladimir Putin and condemned the terrorist attack, pleding US support for the Kremlin as it pursued and brought terrorists to justice.
