Playing for Change- “Higher Ground”
This week’s Soothing the Beast BFP/Jamiol Music pick is Higher Ground by Playing for Change. A multimedia movement, Playing for Change was created to inspire, connect, and bring peace to the world through music.
The project was started in 2004 by Mark Johnson and Enzo Buono. Using mobile recording equipment, the duo recorded local musicians performing the same song, interpreted in their own style from around the world. So tonight we watch a song circle the globe with some seriously talented musicians taking us along this unique musical trip…enjoy…DJPJ.
