On Tuesday, SAA, Allies launch operation against ISIS, Mahin captured as a result.
The Syrian Armed Forces with support of National Defence Forces, The Lebaneses Hezbollah and Soroto militia, have launched a wide-scale operation to regain control over the key town of Mahin and Hawarin village, that were taken 20 days ago by ISIS [Islamic State] terrorists.
The military operation starts getting success after taking control of the military storage base south of Mahin, as well as raiding from the north [Hadath village] and well moving towards the town from the west [hazem mount], more detailed map below..
Field Sources confirmed that unites of SAA 18th and 11th armored divisions, plus the republican guards led by brigadier general Ghassan Nassour [commander of Qalamon area], have broken the ISIS imposed-strap on Mahin perimeter after long-range artillery firing then cracking gabs inside hostiles defensive line for the reinforcement infantry troops to storm and take control over the town.
The only salvation way of ISIS was retreating towards Al-Qaryatien city.
The SAA and Allies forces could probably set up bunkers around the liberated area to repel any possible danger, and won’t advance onward Qaryatien among this week at least.
