Over 400 Romanian military participate in the ‘RUBICON 2014′ training module
Military of units and large units under the command of the General Staff of Land Forces and of units of the US 173rd Airborne Brigade participate in the ‘RUBICON 2014′ training module, led by ‘Mihai Viteazul’ Special Operations Brigade 6, in Campia Turzii and Cincu, in the period November 11 – 24.
‘The over 400 military who will be training together will participate in flying and parachuting drills, firing drills with different weapon categories and tactical exercises,’ informs a National Defence Ministry (MApN) release remitted to AGERPRES on Tuesday.
“RUBICON 2014′ represents a major activity of the Atlantic Resolve operation, meant to prove the commitment of the United States of America and Romania for supporting NATO’s collective security and is aimed at increasing the interoperability level between the participating forces, the experience exchange and the harmonisation of techniques, tactics and procedures in the area.
