Peter B. Collins Presents Professor Ted Postol
As US media and political leaders repeat unproven claims by Israel that its Iron Dome system has intercepted 80% or 90% of targeted Hamas rockets, no major print or broadcast outlet has challenged these incredible assertions. And aside from Democracy Now, no major outlet has contacted MIT’s Prof. Theodore Postol, an acknowledged and respected worldwide expert on missile defense technology, since the conflict escalated at the end of June. For the first time, Postol drops his academic reticence and offers candid comments on Israel’s tactics and the complicity of US leaders who embrace the extreme policies of the Netanyahu government. Postol details the probability of Iron Dome effectiveness as low as 5%, and expresses his outrage that American taxpayers are funding this high-tech illusion.
